How to Play Clean the Squishies
Learn the complete pickup, carrying, sorting and upgrade loop. These steps cover the controls needed for your first full cleanup.
The shop is filled with scattered Squishies that must be collected and returned to their matching shelves. Work through one section at a time, reduce unnecessary walking and use upgrades or magic when the remaining mess becomes harder to manage.
Choose a Small Shop Section
Start with one nearby aisle or shelf instead of chasing Squishies across the entire shop. A compact route makes it easier to remember where each Squishy belongs.
Pick Up Squishies
Press E or click on PC to pick up a Squishy. Controller players can use RT for pickup and placement.
Carry and Switch Squishies
Collect several nearby Squishies before returning to the shelves. On PC, use the number keys to switch between the Squishies you are carrying.
Place Each Squishy
Move to the matching shelf position and press E or click to place the selected Squishy. Controller players use RT to place it.
Drop or Squish When Needed
Press E on PC or LT on controller to drop a Squishy. Hold Click on PC or hold LT on controller to use the Squish action.
Use Your Magic Ability
Press G on PC to activate the equipped Magic Ability. Save it for crowded areas or sections that would otherwise require repeated pickup trips.
Buy Helpful Upgrades
Spend your progress on upgrades that reduce your biggest slowdown, such as limited carrying space, slow movement or repeated manual cleaning. Controller players can open upgrades with Y.
Finish the Shop or Join Friends
Continue sorting until the shop is restored, then compare your completion time on the leaderboard. You can clean alone or work with other players in the same server.
How Magic Works in Clean the Squishies
Collect Squishies, use them with the magic progression system and activate your equipped ability during difficult cleanup sections.
Magic supports the normal pickup-and-place gameplay rather than replacing it. Build a clean carrying route first, then activate magic when a large pile, long walk or crowded section begins slowing your progress.

Squishies are scattered across the entire shop, including open floor space, aisle routes and areas beside the shelves. The fastest approach is to clear one section completely, place matching Squishies together and perform a final sweep after the main floor is clean.
Clean the Squishies Controls
Use these inputs to pick up, place, drop, switch and squish items while managing upgrades and Magic Abilities.
Most actions use context-sensitive controls. A quick press handles normal pickup or placement, while holding the listed input activates the squishing action.
